Recruiting

I am very familiar with the recruiting side of Human Resources. I worked as a Recruiter in the past and had the privilege of first hand experience in Corporate America, Non-Profit as well as different branches of  Government.  I enjoyed some parts of recruitment more than others.

The part I enjoyed the least was reviewing and rating resumes, lots and lots, and piles of resumes.  Starting out it would take me a long time to carefully read/review/analyze resumes and classify them in one category or the other. Over time, I became proficient and quick, knowing the key things to scan for (*A seasoned recruiter does not read resumes).

In the Private and Non-Profit sector, resumes would be rated and categorized in one of the following categories:

Qualified- resume shows relevant experience and/or educational requirements. Applicant is referred to Hiring Manager.

Pursuing a Stronger Candidate- resume shows relevant experience but candidate is a job hopper;  or,  a candidate applying for an Administrative Assistant position  has formatting and spelling errors on resume. Consequently this Applicant will not be referred to the Hiring Manager.

Not Qualified- self explanatory; no relevant experience. Applicant will not be referred to the Hiring Manager.

The process for reviewing resumes is uniquely different in Government.

Contrary to the Private sector, In Government, a candidate cannot be disqualified simply because the resume shows evidence of job hopping, spelling errors or sloppy formatting. The review and rating is strictly based on qualifications/experience/education and candidate status factors for example, if the applicant is a current or former Government employee and depending on the sector of Government a US Citizen.

As we conclude the Kingdom Ambassador Orientation Series. I am pleased to let you know that our Kingdom is recruiting for Ambassadors.

You will not be disqualified for not having it "all together"

The Kingdom Handbook states that:

Romans 3:22-24 (International Children’s Bible)
God makes people right with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ. This is true for all who believe in Christ, because all are the same. 23 All people have sinned and are not good enough for God’s glory. 24 People are made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. They are made right with God by being made free from sin through Jesus Christ.

Are you interested in becoming a Kingdom Ambassador? Apply with your conviction and interview by your daily interactions, choices and lifestyle.

God Bless you! It is my prayer that we will continue to ever sharpen our skills, build up positive experiences, develop and grow in the prestigious position as:

WORSHIPING our King

Revelation 4:8-11
8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

“Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come!”
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
11 “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”

***Continued.....Ambassador DUTIES in Song

It was just last week that my Mother and I were in the Supermarket when the man in line right in front of us could not buy the two items he had (a box of crackers and a bag of chips) because he did not have enough money.

I froze in the moment knowing what I needed to do but stood there in a daze with hurt for the man and captivated thoughts wondering how the man felt, if he really needed these things and should I offer to pay for them........as he walked away, my Mother kept saying Favor, pay for the items, Favor  you can pay for it, Favor.....but for some reason I was frozen, I eventually awakened from my fear and thoughts, responded okay to my Mom and asked the cashier how much his items came up to and told her I would pay for them while my mother ran after the man trying to get his attention.

We picked up the tab and the man thanked us graciously. I was terribly disappointed in myself nonetheless for delaying my response. I was sad in my heart knowing that I could and should have responded without delay. I kept saying in my heart, Lord please forgive me, God I'm so sorry.

Let us work on awakening our responses to move quickly to help when the opportunity presents it's self to us.

Today, we continue to sing about our duties and responsibilities as Kingdom Ambassadors.

If I Can Help Somebody

If I can help somebody as I travel along
If I can help somebody in a word or a song
If I can help somebody from doing wrong
then  my living shall not be in vain

No, my living shall not be in vain
No, my living shall not be in vain...
Morgan State University Choir

Make Me a Servant
Make me a servant
Humble and meek

Lord let me lift up
Those who are weak

And may the prayer
Of my heart always be

Make me a servant
Make me a servant
Make me a servant today...

Go Light Your World
There is a candle in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a spirit who brings a fire
Ignites a candle and makes His home
So carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn

Hold out your candle for all to see it
Take your candle and go light your world
Take your candle and go light your world

Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to
Light his own candle some other way

See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to
Still holds a candle without a flame

So carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn...

Singing about our Ambassador DUTIES

Music has a way to penetrate our hearts in such a way that stimulates our emotions and motivates our actions.

The ability to compose music  with a combination of lyrics, melody, harmony, with unique musical instrument accompaniment is a beautiful gift that we were given by our Creator.

Today, lets listen to these songs that reinforces and awaken our consciousness about our duties as Kingdom Ambassadors:

We Are the World
There comes a time when we hear a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
And its time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all

We can't go on pretending day by day
That someone, somewhere will soon make a change
We are all a part of God's great big family
And the truth, you know,
Love is all we need

~Chorus~
We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So lets start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
Its true we'll make a better day
Just you and me

Send them your heart so they'll know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us by turning stones to bread
So we all must lend a helping hand...
Lionel Ritchie and Company

Lean on Me
This is for that little child with no father
For that man that doesn't have a place to stay
For that little boy living with AIDS
Can I tell you a story, tell you a story
You can lean on me

There's a man
Standing on the corner
He has no home
He has no food
And his blue skies are gone (yes it is)
Can't you hear him cryin' out

And there's a girl
Searching for a father and a friend
Praying that the storm someday will end

But instead of walking away
Open up your heart and say

I am here
You don't have to worry
I'll be there in a hurry when you call...
Kirk Franklyn and Company

We Will Stand
Sometimes it's hard for me to understand
Why we pull away from each other so easily
Even though we're all walking the same road
Yet we build dividing walls between
Our brothers and ourselves

But I, I don't care what label you may wear
if you believe in Jesus you belong with me
The bond we share is all I care to see
And we can change this world forever
if you will join with me
Join and sing, sing

You're my brother, you're my sister
So take me by the hand
Together we will work until He comes
There's no foe that can defeat us
When we're walking side by side
As long as there is love
We will stand

The day will come when we will be as one
And with a mighty voice together
We will proclaim that Jesus
Jesus is King
And it will echo through the earth
It will shake the nations
And the world will see
See that

You're my brother, you're my sister
So take me by the hand...

Hello Friends!

Position descriptions are the documents on which employers bases position postings, job interviews, and performance appraisals.

Kingdom Ambassador Position Description

My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise. Psalms 51:17 (AMP)

Kingdom Ambassador~JOB DESCRIPTION

So far in our Kingdom Ambassador Orientation, we have:

1. Acknowledged our Kingdom Anthems as protocol
2. Reviewed the Kingdom Benefits Package
3. Honored our King in Song
4. Presented the Kingdom Mission/Vision and Operating Guidelines
5. Daydreamed Meditated Acknowledged our Kingdom Home in song.

At this time we will be transitioning to review the details contained in the Kingdom Ambassador job description.

The Chief Leader (President/Prime Minister) of Independent Countries such as the United States of America, Great Britain, Jamaica, Canada for example, appoint an Ambassador to represent their Government and President while living in another Country.

The Ambassador has the authority to act, speak and make decisions on behalf of their Country and President and advocate for the special interests of their Government. In other words, an Ambassador represents the President living in a foreign County.

KINGDOM AMBASSADOR

2 Corinthians 5:19-20(CEB)  In other words, God was reconciling the world to himself through Christ, by not counting people’s sins against them. He has trusted us with this message of reconciliation.

20 So we are Ambassadors who represent Christ. God is negotiating with you through us. We beg you as Christ’s representatives, “Be reconciled to God!”

As Kingdom Ambassadors our primary duty is to represent Christ.  Our lives,  purpose is to represent our King's special interests by our actions, and make decisions that represent the Kingdom of God.

**Personal disclosure: I Highly Favored, have not always performed these duties at full capacity and have not represent the Kingdom well in all circumstances and situations.

I invite you to participate with me as we review and understand our Job Descriptions as Ambassadors in training over the next several posts and do our best to reconcile our responsibilities, actions and attitudes to line up with God.

Singing About my KINGDOM HOME

2 Corinthians 5:1-10 The Message (MSG)

5 1-5 For instance, we know that when these bodies of ours are taken down like tents and folded away, they will be replaced by resurrection bodies in heaven—God-made, not handmade—and we’ll never have to relocate our “tents” again. Sometimes we can hardly wait to move—and so we cry out in frustration. Compared to what’s coming, living conditions around here seem like a stopover in an unfurnished shack, and we’re tired of it! We’ve been given a glimpse of the real thing, our true home, our resurrection bodies! The Spirit of God whets our appetite by giving us a taste of what’s ahead. He puts a little of heaven in our hearts so that we’ll never settle for less.

6-8 That’s why we live with such good cheer. You won’t see us drooping our heads or dragging our feet! Cramped conditions here don’t get us down. They only remind us of the spacious living conditions ahead. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us? When the time comes, we’ll be plenty ready to exchange exile for homecoming.

9-10 But neither exile nor homecoming is the main thing. Cheerfully pleasing God is the main thing, and that’s what we aim to do, regardless of our conditions. Sooner or later we’ll all have to face God, regardless of our conditions. We will appear before Christ and take what’s coming to us as a result of our actions, either good or bad.

Kingdom POLICIES & GUIDELINES

Greetings Friends!  This week, in our Kingdom Ambassador Orientation , we will be reviewing our Kingdom's Policies and Operating Guidelines.

Have you ever worked for a Company/Business that did not have operating policies, procedures, guidelines, core principles, a mission and a vision?

Whether or not they were clearly communicated, implemented, monitored and/or evaluated is another story; but I venture to say every business Enterprise has a general Mission (purpose for existence) and a general Vision (how that purpose will be achieved).

It's no different with the Kingdom.  Let us review and examine our Kingdom's Mission, Vision, core Policies and Operating Procedures.  Having this knowledge allows us to align our purpose and actions so that we are on target with Kingdom expectations.

Let's take a look at the Kingdom Handbook Bible to review The Kingdom Mission, Vision, Policies, Operating Procedures and Guidelines.

Kingdom Mission:

Genesis 1:26-27 Expanded Bible (EXB)
26 Then God said,
  • “Let us make human beings in our image and likeness.
  • And let them rule [have dominion] over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky [heavens], over the tame animals [beasts; livestock], over all the earth, and over all the small crawling animals on the earth.”

27 So God created human beings [man;  human beings, humankind, person, man] in his image [reflecting God’s nature/character and representing him in the world]. In the image of God he created them. He created them male and female.

 Kingdom Vision:

Genesis 1:28 Expanded Bible (EXB)
28 God blessed them and said [ to them],
  • “Have many children and grow in number [ Be fruitful and multiply].
  • Fill the earth and be its master [subdue it].
  • Rule [ Have dominion] over the fish in the sea and over the birds in the sky [heavens] and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

* Please note we are God's representation on earth (see verse 27) . That is why we were created in His likeness (nature/character/rulership).

*Also note, we were not created to have dominion/rulership over each other. That was not the original vision/plan (see verse 28 3rd bullet).

Kingdom Policies:

  1. Matthew 22:37-38 (NIV)  Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.
Operating Guidelines:  Exodus 20:3-11 The Message (MSG)
      1. No other gods, only me [The King].
      2. No carved gods of any size, shape, or form of anything whatever, whether of things that fly or walk or swi Don’t bow down to them and don’t serve them because I am God, your God, and I’m a most jealous God, punishing the children for any sins their parents pass on to them to the third, and yes, even to the fourth generation of those who hate me. But I’m unswervingly loyal to the thousands who love me and keep my commandments.
      3. No using the name of God, your God, in curses or silly banter. God won’t put up with the irreverent use of his name.
      4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Work six days and do everything you need to do. But the seventh day is a Sabbath to God, your God. Don’t do any work—not you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your maid, nor your animals, not even the foreign guest visiting in your town. For in six days God made Heaven, Earth, and sea, and everything in them; he rested on the seventh day. Therefore God blessed the Sabbath day; he set it apart as a holy day.
      5. Honor your father and mother so that you’ll live a long time in the land that God, your God, is giving you.

     2. Matthew 22:39 (NIV) And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor    as  yourself.

Operating Guidelines: Exodus 20:12-17The Message (MSG)
      1. No murder.
      2. No adultery.
      3. No stealing.
      4. No lies about your neighbor.
      5. No lusting after your neighbor’s house—or wife or servant or maid or ox or donkey. Don’t set your heart on anything that is your neighbor’s.

Singing To My KING

When I think about the Awesomeness of My King......words cannot describe how honored I am that He regards me, loves me and calls me His Child.

As a daughter of The Most High, the KING of Kings,  Romans 8 verse 17 tells me that "Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory."

This week, my heart sings...

For Your Glory (Tasha Cobbs)
Lord if I
Find favor in Your sight
Lord please, hear my hearts cry

I'm desperately waiting
To be where You are.
I'll cross the hottest desert
I'll travel near or far

For Your Glory
I will do anything
Just to see You
To behold You as my King

Take Me to the King (Tamela Mann)
 Take me to the King
I don't have much to bring
My heart's torn in pieces
It's my offering

Lay me at the throne
Leave me there alone
To gaze upon Your glory
And sing to You this song
Please take me to the King

Your Presence is Heaven to Me
(Darlene Zschech& Isreal Haughton)
Who is like You Lord in all the earth
Matchless love and beauty, endless worth
Nothing in this world will satisfy
Jesus You're the cup that won't run dry

Your presence is Heaven to me
Your presence is Heaven to me

Treasure of my heart and of my soul
In my weakness You are merciful
Redeemer of my past and present wrongs
Holder of my future days to come

Your presence is Heaven to me
Your presence is Heaven to me

Kingdom Ambassador Series continues.....stay tuned!

Kingdom BENEFITS Package

Greetings Friends!  In this week's  Ambassador orientation session we are reviewing the Kingdom's benefit package.

If you agree, the benefit package that a Company offers is usually one of the determining factors in accepting a position or wanting to work for that Company.

The essential details of the Organizations benefits package are usually presented and briefed to in more detail during the new employee orientation. You are required to make a selection on your preferred benefit coverage within the first few days of employment or elect to waive coverage.

Today, we are going to review the Kingdom Benefit Blessings package.  I am excited to be apart of the Kingdom and this position as Ambassador, I hope you are too.

Kingdom Benefit Blessings Package:

The King wants us to know that as Kingdom Representatives/Ambassadors Everything we need, including but not limited to clothing, food, security, protection are being provided at Kingdom's expense. We do not need to be concerned as Ambassadors about these provisions. For more details on the coverage plan, lets turn our Bible Kingdom Handbook to

Matthew 6: 25-33
  •  “Therefore, I say to you, don’t worry about your life, what you’ll eat or what you’ll drink, or about your body, what you’ll wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothes?

  •  Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t sow seed or harvest grain or gather crops into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth much more than they are?

  • Who among you by worrying can add a single moment to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? Notice how the lilies in the field grow. They don’t wear themselves out with work, and they don’t spin cloth. But I say to you that even Solomon in all of his splendor wasn’t dressed like one of these.

  •  If God dresses grass in the field so beautifully, even though it’s alive today and tomorrow it’s thrown into the furnace, won’t God do much more for you, you people of weak faith?

  • Therefore, don’t worry and say, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’  Gentiles long for all these things. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

  • Instead, desire first and foremost God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Coverage Continued...

Psalm 23:1
  • You, Lord, are my [King]. I will never be in need.

Isaiah 43:1-4

  • Now, this is what the [King] says, the one who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel:“Don’t be afraid, for I will protect you.I call you by name, you are mine.
  • When you pass through the waters, I am with you; When you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned;the flames will not harm you.
  •  For I am the [King] your God, the Holy One of Israel, your deliverer. I have handed over Egypt as a ransom price,Ethiopia and Seba in place of you.
  • Since you are precious and special in my sight, and I love you, I will hand over people in place of you, nations in place of your life.
Psalm 91:10-12

  • No evil will conquer you; No plague will come near your home. For [The KING] will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.
  • They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
John 14:27

Benefits Blessings Conditions of Waiver

  •  Corinthians 6:8-10 These six things the [KING] hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look; A lying tongue; Hands that shed innocent blood; A heart that devises wicked plans; Feet that are swift in running to evil; A false witness who speaks lies; And one who sows discord among brethren.

  • 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Don’t you know that evil people won’t have a share in the blessings of God’s kingdom? Don’t fool yourselves! No one who is immoral or worships idols or is unfaithful in marriage or is a pervert or behaves like a homosexual will share in God’s kingdom. Neither will any thief or greedy person or drunkard or anyone who curses and cheats others.

Retirement Package

John 14:1-4
  • Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?  When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.

Revelation 21:1-5
  • Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.
  • And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

  • Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.

  • And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.  He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

****For a more comprehensive description of benefits blessings available to you, please review the Kingdom Handbook in its entirety. In it you will also find examples of  how the benefits assisted other Ambassadors in our Kingdom's history.

Kingdom ANTHEMS

National Anthems are equivalent to a country's motto, crest and flag.  It is noted that one of the main functions of an anthem is to pay homage/respect to  a reigning Monarch or Head of State.  According to NAW,  national anthems were traditionally used on ceremonial occasions when such a person or representative is present.

As Kingdom Ambassadors, we are fully aware that our Monarch is the KING of kings and LORD of lords and with that, we begin our Ambassador Orientation series singing our King's Anthems....

All hail the power of Jesus Name
Let Angels prostrate fall,
Bring forth the Royal Diadem,
and crown Him, crown Him,
crown Him, crown Him,
and crown Him Lord of All.

Ye chosen seed of Israel's race,
ye ransomed from the fall
Hail Him who saves you by his Grace,
and crown Him, crown Him,
crown Him, crown Him,
and crown him Lord of all..

Let us crown Him King of kings
Let us crown Him Lord of lords
Grace Thrillers

Majesty! Worship His Majesty!
Unto Jesus be all glory, honor, and praise.

Majesty, Kingdom Authority!
Flow from his throne unto His own, His anthem raise.

So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus.
Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus, the King.

Majesty, worship his majesty,
Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings

Kingdom Ambassador Orientation

Greetings Friends.  Blessings! Favor! Safety! and Gods Perfect Will are my prayers for you in this New Year, 2015.

A New Year symbolizes for most of us a fresh start, a new outlook, new expectations, anticipations of great things and successful outcomes.

I hope you have had the opportunity to watch the interview in my last post of 2014.  Several people stated they could not view the video in that post so here is a you tube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMfeU3wqAE4

I was inspired to share this video with you because after listening, something happened in my spirit that caused me to have a different outlook on my life, my influence and my authority.  The revelations shared in the interview with Dr. Munroe has given my confidence an extra boost.

Each time that I've started working for a new company, I've had to attend a new employee Orientation.   An orientation is a training where company policies, benefits, regulations, operating procedures etc are presented taught to you as a new employee.

I am a New Employee Ambassador in 2015. I represent the Company Kingdom of Heaven.  Even though I've held this position before, I'm getting more in depth training for my role as an Ambassador that will equip me to represent my Company Kingdom well and fulfill my roles and responsibilities exceptionally well.

As a result, I am going to participate in an Ambassador Orientation in the next series of posts (inspired by the interview) and I invite you to come and sit beside me as we explore Kingdoms policies, benefits, operating procedures etc.

We are Kingdom Ambassadors lets get all the knowledge needed to fulfill or roles and responsibilities with Excellence.
