Our World

Dear Lord,

I thank you for bringing me through the Month of February.  There were more joys than sorrows and even in the sorrows I praise you because you are a comforter. You certainly know how to wipe tears and bring joy.

I pray today for my brothers and sisters in the eastern region of the world. Refugees fleeing from war, Individuals oppressed by Government, I cry out to you for the human lives in Syria, Sudan, Iraq, Ukraine, North Korea, Congo and all the nations where there is suffering and oppression. People fleeing for their lives, starvation, dehydration, malnutrition, sickness, debase sanitary conditions.  Lord have Mercy please.

Dispatch your ministering Angels from heaven to attend.  Please allow favor for organizations and establishments with aid and relief to reach those who need them. Remove all barriers and obstacles in Jesus Name.

You see in Heaven the atrocities, Lord only you know.  Please hear my cry today for those who can no longer cry, hear my cry today for tho…

'Play' on Emotions

If you haven't already figured it out, I LOVE music. As a teen I sang in several music groups and choirs. In recent years, I sang  solo's at church. Growing up I would drive my mom crazy at times singing often at the TOP of my lungs trying to imitate a soloist I heard at church and I would go on and on... She would say Nadia Favored!......stop, alright STOOOP!!

I also remember as a little girl crying when I heard certain songs because they made me think how much I love my mom.  Growing up my mom would tell me she love me All The Time. So when I was little whenever I heard the song, I just called to say I love you and a few others, I would cry because it flooded emotions of how much I love my Mommy.

The melodies and lyrics of well composed songs can pull at our emotions. The perfect lyrics and melody often speak to my heart, express my current feelings, sooth my soul, bring me joy.  It all depends on where I am emotionally.

I use to post the lyrics to songs until I recently f…

Personalized Chanting

I will Trust in the Lord with all my heart. I will not lean to my own understanding.  I will acknowledge Him in everything I do and He will direct my path.
God has not given me a spirit of fear but a spirit of power and a sound mind.
The Angel of the Lord encamps around me and will deliver me because I trust Him.
The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.
God will give his Angels charge over me to protect me in all my ways.
God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all I could ever ask or think...according to the power that works in me.....

How Soon?

We have been hearing and reading for a very long time that Jesus will come and take us to Heaven.

Jesus promised and said: And since I'm going away to prepare a place for you, I'll come back again and welcome you into my presence, so that you may be where I am.  John 14:3 (ISV).

Jesus our King soon come. How soon you may ask and wonder? Check out the answer below. Enjoy!!

I Saw A Glimpse

As I watched the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympics, I was mostly intrigued by the entrance of each nation as they proudly displayed the flag of their Country smiling with pride and waving as they entered the stadium.  You could sense the excitement and joy.  In some instances the President or equivalent stood as their Country's athletes entered and waved back at them with pride.

In my heart I said, look at my brothers and sisters.  These are my brothers and sisters.  I thought about heaven and the parallels of the opening ceremony of the Olympics.  Can you imagine when we enter through the gates....The bible tells us there are 12 gates to the city of Heaven.  Can you imagine how happy and overjoyed we will be, smiling and waving, greeting each other and excited that we made it in?

I envision how proud our Savior will be smiling back at us and welcoming us in with Pride. I got a glimpse of what Heaven will be like when we make it over.  I look forward to meeting you in pers…

I Believe

It seams so easy to give up on our dreams when God promised rain but there is no cloud in the skies.

I feel like a child throwing a tantrum, pouting my mouth, folding my arms and closing my ears.

I want to give up because its easier than believing the rain is coming when I don't see clouds in the sky.  It's times like these where the scripture says "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience."  James 1:3.   Faith commands me to believe it WILL rain when I don't need to see the clouds.

"Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see" Hebrews 11:1 (NLT)

Today I declare that I believe God has the best plan and design for my future. I don't see the rain clouds nevertheless IT's Gonna RAIN.

Irony of Life

It was just yesterday a very good friend and I were talking about emotions and crying.  My friend asked when was the last time I cried or wept (apparently there is a difference).  I said it's been a while and just to think that I am now weeping.  The tears from my soul is being poured on my face this evening.

Why? Why? WHY?!   I need you Lord....Every Hour I need you.
