Festival of Praise Concert

Last night I attended a Festival of Praise Concert featuring Donnie McClurkin and Fred Hammond.

I was blessed not only by the ministry of music but by the recent powerful testimonies of these men.  We had not seen Donnie McClurkin  in person concert before, but always enjoyed him on TV. When he came on stage my mom commented on how he looked so thin.  Would you know that he testified how he was recently diagnosed with diabetes AND that in August (a few months ago) he had cancerous cells in his throat that was discovered and removed just before they got to his vocal cords!! My God, My God.... I say Thank You Jesus!!!  Donnie did not hold back on his praise and the flow of the spirit working through him in song and ministry is tangible, its authentic, its genuine and it moves you every time.  Praise God. May God strengthen Pastor Donnie, heal and deliver him in Jesus Name.

Fred Hammond Shared that in January 2014 he had double knee surgery. His knees where so bad even his doctor told him he never saw such a case in all his years of Specialization.  He told us about the excruciating recovery period and how he fell into depression and felt far away from God. But today, the Joy of the Lord IS his strength and He did a few dance moves Glorifying God for where He brought him from.

This concert was a blessing and May God protect and bless them while on this mission tour.

    1. Yes, Ms. Cookie, the devil is a liar and the father of lies. Fred Hammond does have a rich....deep....soulful voice/sound.

  2. Thanks for sharing both of those clips. I fully enjoyed the testimony and the beautiful songs of praise. I love Donnie and I wasn't aware that he was going through all of that, either. I'm glad I found your blog today... :)
